Criticism

  • A use film in a good sense, made with some ambitions, but more work that you execute solid, as a matter of the heart. ( Rolf Richter in DEFA feature film directors and critics, 1981)
  • The serene in its basic tenor film conveys poetically structure of our [ ... ] lifestyle. The construction site, such as the Mecklenburg countryside and the village, meadows, ponds and - here the symbol has become - flying storks are organically included in the action guide and picture composition. Siegfried Kühn thereby proves his directing talent. ( Manfred Jelenski in morning, July 25, 1971)
