Zeitzer Land

The administrative community Zeitz country was an administrative community in the castle district in the south of Saxony- Anhalt. Office of the Management Community was Zeitz.

The community Deuben changed on 1 July 2007 in the administrative community Vierberge - Teucherner country. On 1 July 2009, the formerly independent villages Döbris, Geußnitz, Kayna, Nonnewitz and Würchwitz were incorporated to Zeitz.

With the incorporations of Luckenau and Theißen to Zeitz managing Community on 1 January 2010 was dissolved.

Covering an area of ​​87.16 km ² lived 32,863 inhabitants (December 31, 2008).
