Zeke's Pad

Piet's mistaken bankruptcies (English Zeke 's Pad ) is an Australian- Canadian animated series from the year 2008. In Germany, the series airs on KI.KA. It is about Piet (original Zeke ), a teenager who finds a magic tablet computer one day, which can be real everything is drawn to it.

The series was nominated for the 2009 AFI Award for best children's animation show the Australian Film Institute and won in the same year, the awards for the best television production and Best Art Direction at the Elan Awards for animated films and video games.

Content

The 14- year-old Piet palm ( Zeke Palmer ) has a pad that not only has the usual electronic functions, but everything can be real, what the user draws it. The artistically ambitious Piet, who likes to go with the skateboard through the city, so tried again and again with his pad to solve the problems of their daily lives or to make this bearable. But always brings him a wish fulfilled at the end was more trouble.

Production and publication

The series was produced by Flying Bark Productions, Leaping Lizard Productions and Bardel Entertainment. Was directed by Tim Goldsby -Smith, Ian Freedman and Florian Wagner. The music was composed by Steve London, for the cut Simon Klaebe was responsible and the artistic director Greg Huculak had stopped.

The first broadcast took place at the Seven Network in Australia from 26 December 2008. From 7 to 23 September 2009, the German premiere took place at KI.KA. This was followed by repetitions, even at ZDF, as well as a broadcast at SF two. In addition, the series was shown, among others, in France, Greece, Spain, Canada, India, Sri Lanka, Poland, Latin America and the Middle East on television.
