Geographical location

Consisting of three parts wine community Zellertalstraße located in the homonymous Zellertalstraße between Kaiserslautern and Worms north of the Palatinate Forest and south of the North Palatine Uplands. It occupies the extreme east of the Thunder Mountain district.

The largest district Harxheim extends into the alluvial plain at the mouth of Ammelbachs in the Pfrimm and south of the north slope of Mount Kahlenberg up, cell runs north of it on the facing south slope of Osterberg's up, and Niefernheim lies to the east of it in the valley, left of Pfrimm and on the southern slope of the same mountain.

Climate

History

Traffic

Through the southern district of Harxheim runs from west to east the main road 47 (Kaiserslautern - Worms). All three districts touches the plane passing through the vineyards wine trail Zellertalstraße.

Parallel to B 47 runs the single track of the railway Zellertalstraße ( Langmeil - Monsheim ). For the community Zellertalstraße is the breakpoint in Harxheim. Public transport was set in the 1980s, but has been held since 2001 on Sundays and public holidays in the two-hour rhythm excursion traffic instead.
