Zengcheng District

The Zengcheng City (增 城市, Zengcheng Shì ) is a county -level city in the Chinese province of Guangdong. It belongs to the administrative area of the province of Guangzhou (Canton). In 1999, she counted 785 265 inhabitants. Zengcheng is known as a production site for jeans; 2007 50 % of the national production were produced there.

Mid-June 2011, there were riots in the city and numerous arrests by security forces.
