Crater Lake

The Zengenasee ( Zingini Kibeb Hayk ') is a nearly circular crater lake. It is located in the Awi Zone of the Amhara Region of Ethiopia, and is next to the Tirbasee one of two crater lakes in Awi. The lake is located between the villages Injibara kessa and only 200 meters from the main road connecting Addis Ababa - Bahir Dar at 2514 meters above sea level. The diameter of the lake is about 1 km.
