Zenica-Doboj Canton

The Zenica-Doboj Canton ( bos. Zeničko - dobojski Canton, Croat. Zeničko - dobojska Županija ) is one of the ten cantons of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and is situated in central Bosnia. The name is derived from the two cities of Zenica Doboj and, with the city of Doboj is part of the Republika Srpska and not with said Canton. The canton covers an area of ​​3343.3 km ². The council is based in Zenica.

Population

The Zenica-Doboj Canton has about 385,000 inhabitants ( 2013). He is one of five Bosniak majority cantons of the Federation.
