Zeno.org

Zeno.org [ tsenodɔt ɔʀg ] is the largest German -language full-text library by its own account. It was ( a sister company of Direct Media Publishing) founded in 2007 by the Zenodot Verlagsgesellschaft mbH.

The information portal was launched on 30 September 2007. Since the financial expectations of the operators have not met, the project on 10 November 2008, available for purchase. After the end of 2008 the company Direct Publishing and the Zenodot Verlagsgesellschaft mbH were sold, Zeno.org is operated by Editura Society for publishing services mbH in Berlin.

On 2 December 2009, it was announced that the research network text Grid has acquired the texts of the on-line library Zeno.org.
