Zenssee

The Zenssee is the urban area of ​​Lychen belonging lake. It is located in the north- east of Brandenburg in the Natural Park Uckermärkische lake. The result is the body of water from dead ice blocks of the early Ice Age.

Location

The Zenssee is part of Uckermärkischen Lakelands. Together with Wurlsee, Big Lychensee Platkowsee, city lake and Nesselpfuhl it forms the Lychener lakes Cross, which covers the inner area of ​​the city Lychen almost like islands. He connects the Oberpfuhl and the southeastern Platkowsee.

The lake is 111.67 hectares and a maximum of 29 feet deep. The lake is elongated in the north-west to south-easterly direction. Fauna and Flora

Main fish species are carp, tench, bream, pike, walleye, perch, eel, catfish and various species of white fish. These is a population of fish eagles.
