Zëri i Popullit

Zëri i Popullit (Albanian for " voice of the people ") is a daily newspaper based in Tirana, which is published by the Socialist Party of Albania. Editor in Chief 's Aldrin Dalipi.

With a circulation of 5,167 copies ( first half of 2001 ) finished Zëri i Popullit seventh place at the Albanian daily newspapers.

History

The first edition of Zëri i Popullit appeared on 25 April 1942. Many decades was Zëri i Popullit one issued by the Albanian Party of Labour party newspaper. Your main editor was long the later leader Enver Hoxha. Zëri i Popullit was above all the propaganda organ of the Party of Labour during the communist dictatorship. As in Albania in the 1990s, the dictatorial government was overthrown, the work to the Socialist Party was transformed with the transformation of the party and the newspaper.

Since 1992 Zëri i Popullit is the official organ of the Socialists in Albania.
