Zeschdorf

Zeschdorf is a municipality in the district of Mark- or country in Brandenburg and is part of the Office Lebus.

Geography

The municipality consists of nature reserves such as the Treplin -Alt- Zeschdorfer Fließtal as well as some landscape protection areas.

Community structure

For the community Zeschdorf three districts are shown:

  • Old Zeschdorf with the inhabited parts of the municipality Old Zeschdorf, Hohenjesar and Neuzeschdorf
  • Döbberin
  • Peter Hagen, separated from the rest of the municipality in the southwest

History

Zeschdorf was created on 31 December 1997 from the voluntary merger of the previously independent municipalities Old Zeschdorf, Döbberin and Peter Hagen.

The municipal council consists of 10 councilors and council women. The municipal election held on 28 September 2008 led to the following distribution of seats:

The coat of arms was approved on 13 March 2001.

Blazon: " From blue and green split by a bent- tip to the golden head of the shield, occupied the front with a silver shaft pile, pile- back, with a silver rose hedge and bottom with a black ant. "
