Zgharta District

The District Zgharta (Arabic زغرتا ) is a district in the governorate of North Lebanon.

The district is made up of its administration headquarters Zgharta and a number of smaller places. The district extends up into the high mountains of Lebanon. The majority of the population in the district are Maronites; Greek Orthodox and Sunni Muslims belong to other minority.
