Zhang Hong

Zhang Hong (Chinese张 纮, * 152, † 212 ) was a Confucian and a minister under Sun Ce and Sun Quan, the Prince of Wu Dynasty during the Three Kingdoms in ancient China.

He and his brother Zhang Zhao were known as the " two Zhang ". He was a close friend of the Sun family since the days of Sun Jian. After his death he was under Sun Ce for the writing of memoirs and essays about the Emperor Han and Cao Cao Xiandi. After Sun Ces death he should serve Cao Cao, of which he was then sent as a spy to Sun Quan. However, Zhang Hong Wu remained the faithful and Sun Quan asked on his deathbed to develop the city Mo Ling. This was Mo Ling to the capital Jianye (建业, today's Nanjing, Jiangsu).
