Zhejiang Sci-Tech University

Zhejiang University of Technology ( Chinese:浙江 理工 大学, Pinyin: Zhejiang Daxue lǐgōng ), Eng. Zhejiang Sci- Tech University, abbreviated ZSTU, is a technical university in Hangzhou, the capital of China's Zhejiang province. It has about 26,000 students.


The history of Zhejiang University goes back to the 1897 founded " Academy of silk culture " back. Since 1995, she has the right to award doctorates and was opened in the same year for students from Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and foreign countries. After several name changes (including " College of Zhejiang silk industry ", " College of Engineering Zhejiang " ) she was finally on 21 May 2004 its present name.
