Zhejiang University of Science and Technology

The University of Science and Technology Zhejiang ( Chinese:浙江 科技 学院, pinyin: Zhejiang Keji Xueyuan ) ZUST abbreviated, is a full-time high school in the People's Republic of China. It is located in Hangzhou, capital of southeast China's Zhejiang province. The university offers a wide range of degree programs in technology, science, culture, business, government and education, with an emphasis on the engineering sciences.

History

In 1980, the university was founded. 1985 Agreement between the Zhejiang provincial government and the state of Lower Saxony was signed on the further expansion. Since then carried out a regular exchange of students and professors.

The STM currently has 14 faculties and institutes with 39 different courses. The number of students amounts to over 18,500. About 200 Chinese students in Germany.

As part of the projects, a number of practical workshops and laboratories have been established at the STM.

Cooperations

Since 2000, the STM with the German Hochschule Hannover, University of Applied Sciences Nuremberg and several other German universities has a " Sino- German cooperative education program " agreed, many Chinese students go into the frame of each year to Germany. This gives you the opportunity to receive two certificates; one of the STM and one each from the University of Applied Sciences in Germany. The STM has also agreed with countries in America, France, Australia, Italy and other areas in China collaborations.
