Zhirayr Poghosyan

Schirajr Tewanowitsch Poghosyan (Armenian Ժիրայր Թեւանի Պողոսյան, Russian Погосян, Жирайр Теванович; * on January 15, 1942 in Martuni, Karabakh ) is an Armenian politician.

He studied in Stepanakert and attended 1960-1965 Polytechnic Institute Yerevan. After his PhD he worked until 1969 as a technician, engineer, senior engineer and designer at the Scientific Research Institute. From 1969 to 1971 he was the lead designer at the Scientific Research Institute for Microelectronics.
