Zhong Man

Zhong Man (Chinese仲 满, Pinyin Zhong Mǎn; born February 28, 1983 in Nantong ) is a Chinese fencer and Olympic champion.

As an athlete, he has specialized in saber fencing. There, in recent years, three times a podium finish he achieved in a World Cup 2006/2007 in Bangkok and 2007/2008 in Algiers he was in third place in the 2007/2008 season he decided the World Cup in Warsaw for themselves. At the World Championships in 2007 but did not reach podium. While classifying in single- 22nd place, he was with the team saber seventh. After he won in 2007 at the Asian Championship in Nantong silver in singles in 2008 he was in Bangkok Asian champion in his discipline. As Zhong Man was launched in Beijing in the 2008 Summer Olympics, he won in his first Olympic participation surprising at first the gold medal in saber - single, which at the same time the first men's gold in fencing for China meant at all. In 2012, Zhong Man won at the Asian Championship in Wakayama bronze in singles at the Olympic Games in London, he reached the fifteenth place in singles and sixth place with the team.
