Zhong Ren

King Rén Zhong (Chinese中 壬, also Rén Yan (Chinese燕 壬), gong ren (Chinese工 壬), Qi Rén (Chinese其 壬), Nan Rén (Chinese南 壬); † 1730 BC) ruled as third or fourth king of the Shang dynasty for four years over China. He was the third son of King Tang and Tai thing and Bu Bing's younger brother.

The heir apparent result of the Shang Dynasty was to rule that initially the younger brothers and then finally the son ascended the throne. Thus, Tai Jia was the son of Tai Ding, Zhong Ren's successor.
