Zhou Yan (curler)

Zhou Yan (Chinese周 妍, Pinyin Zhou Yan, born September 30, 1982 in Harbin ) is a Chinese curler. Most recently, she played on the position of the lead in the team of Skip Wang Bingyu.

The Curling World Championships 2008, she won at the World Cup, along with their teammates as the first Asian team a medal (silver). The following year they showed the strongest and most consistent performances at the World Cup in South Korea of all the teams and became world champion.

At the Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver in 2010, she won the bronze medal with her team. The 3rd place match they won against the Swiss team led by Mirjam Ott Skip to 12:6. During the Curling World Championship 2010 her retirement from curling sport was known at the end of the season.
