Zhuo Lin

Zhuo Lin (Chinese卓琳, Pinyin Zhuo Lín, W.-G. Chuo Lin, born April 6, 1916 in Yunnan Province, Republic of China, † July 29, 2009 in Beijing, People's Republic of China) was the third wife of Deng Xiaoping.

Zhuo Lin, was the daughter of an industrialist, and in 1938 joined the Communist Party of China. The following year she married Deng in front of Mao's cave dwelling in Yan'an. They had five children, three daughters Deng Lin, Deng Nan and Deng Rong, and the sons Pufang Deng and Deng Zhifang.
