The Ziller is a right tributary of the Inn with 56 km length in the Tyrolean Zillertal in Austria.

Source to Mayrhofen ( Ziller reason)

The source is located at about 2,270 meters above sea level and is located on the main ridge of the Zillertal Alps, between the mountains Rauchkofel ( 3,251 m) and Klockerkarkopf ( 2,913 m ), near the border between the Austrian provinces of Tyrol and Salzburg to Italy. It is located in the village of Brandberg. After a few kilometers north-westerly flow direction of the stream feeds the Zillergründl. From there it goes four kilometers to the west, then take the Ziller on the Sunderbach. After 13 km reach of the Ziller, Mayrhofen.

Mayrhofen to Zell am Ziller

History
