The Stadionul Zimbru is a football stadium in Moldova's capital Chisinau.

History

We started construction in March 2004, and was completed in May 2006. Stadion provides claims to 10,500, according to a UEFA Brochure 10,400 spectators. It is a UEFA Stadium category 4, the highest classification of the European Football Association and meets the requirements of UEFA and FIFA for international competitions. Currently, the Moldovan Erstligisten Zimbru Chisinau and FC Dacia Chişinău and Moldova national football team carry out their games there.

The stadium is situated in six acres of Zimbru sports complex, inter alia, to the the Stadionul Zimbru 2 with natural grass and 2,000 seats, there plays Zimbru Chisinau II, the Stadionul CPTF with artificial turf and 2,000 seats, the pitch of youth soccer school, a mini football field with artificial turf, three tennis courts, a gym, a medical center, apartments belongs to the players, a club museum and the hotel Zimbru.

The Stadionul Zimbru solved the old Stadionul Republican ( stadium of the Republic) as the Moldovan National Stadium from, which had been built in 1952, 8,000 spectators took and demolished in 2007.

Construction

The construction period was 27 months. The costs amounted to 11 million U.S. dollars.

Equipment

The VIP boxes are designed for 250 people. In addition, there are five cabins reporter and a press conference room with 44 seats.
