Zing a Little Zong

Zing a Little Zong is a song by Harry Warren (music) and Leo Robin ( text ), which was published in 1952.

Warren and Robin wrote Zing a Little Zong in the style of a funny novelty songs for the film For Your Eyes Only (Original Title: Just for You, 1952). Directed by Elliott Nugent The song is featured in the film of the two main actors Bing Crosby and Jane Wyman as they dance accompanied by a jazz band. Zing a Little Zong received an Oscar nomination in 1953 for Best Song.

The disc recording of Crosby and Wyman appeared on the Brunswick- 78s on Decca 82701 or 28255, coupled with The Maiden of Guadalupe. Cover versions of the song took place in this period, Peggy Lee and Rosemary Clooney (both in duet with Bing Crosby ) and Helen O'Connell ( Capitol F2137 ) on. 1999 interpreted Joyce Breach, accompanied by Randy Reinhart, Scott Robinson and Keith Ingham ( Reel songs ) the song again ..
