Zlata Bartl

Zlata Bartl ( born February 20, 1920 in Sarajevo, † July 30, 2008 in Koprivnica, Croatia) was a Yugoslav chemist.

In the Podravka labs were developed under her leadership the seasoning Vegeta. This earned her the name Teta Vegeta (English: aunt Vegeta ) a.

Life

Zlata Bartl attended elementary school and high school in Sarajevo. After her high school she studied philosophy in Zagreb, which enabled them to work in Sarajevo as a school professor. In addition, she graduated from the Faculty of Science, University of Zagreb from the study of chemistry, physics and mineralogy.

In 1956 she went to Koprivnica, to work as a lab technician at Podravka. Under her leadership, started in 1957 the development and production of instant soups and 1958 the production of Vegeta. Zlata Bartl 1976 went into retirement.

  • Red Danice hrvatske s Likom Nikole Tesle ( Order of the Croatian Morning Star with the image of Nikola Tesla, by the President of Croatia awarded )
  • Zlatna kuna for the life's work of the Hrvatska Gospodarska komora

Podravka founded in 2001 in her honor a foundation for graduate and postgraduate students.
