Zlatni Rat

The Golden Horn ( Zlatni rat Croatian ) is considered one of the most popular beaches in Croatia. It is located on Brač (near the town of Bol ), an island in Dalmatia area before the city of Split on the Adriatic Sea.

The beach is shaped like a sickle or a horn. It projects from the island a few hundred meters into the sea and consists of small, round pebbles that move with the flow over long periods of time. Here, the shape of the beach changed so that the tip shows times in one times in the other direction. This effect is caused by the different water currents and the different water level.
