Zoë Heller

Zoë Heller ( * July 7, 1965 in London) is a British journalist and writer.

Biography

Heller in 1965, born in North London, the youngest of four children of German - Jewish immigrants Lukas Heller, who made a name for himself as a screenwriter. After her English studies at the University of Oxford in the UK and Columbia University in the United States she hit a career as a journalist. Initially, she wrote book reviews for various newspapers, supervised later as the feature writer The Independent and came across a four-year job at the Sunday Times finally to The Daily Telegraph, where she has since been working as a columnist. In 2002, she was selected for her contribution to " Columnist of the Year".

In addition to her work as a journalist Heller in 1999 published her first novel, Everything You Know, followed by What Was She Thinking: Notes on a Scandal ( 2003), which was filmed in 2006 with Judi Dench and Cate Blanchett, and The Believers in 2007.

Zoë Heller is married to screenwriter Larry Konnern. The couple have two daughters: Frankie and Louella.
