Zoë Keating

Zoë Keating ( born February 2, 1972 in Guelph, Ontario) is an American cellist and composer from San Francisco, California.

Zoë Keating began with eight years to play the cello and attended Sarah Lawrence College in New York.

In her solo recordings they used electronic sampling and repetition of musical elements to obtain a rhythmically solid music structure.

From 2002 to 2006 she was principal cellist of the rock band Rasputina.
