Zola (musician)

Bonginkosi Dlamini ( born 1977 in Soweto, South Africa) is a South African musician, actor and television presenter, known by his stage name Zola. The name derives from the township, where he grew up. In an environment where unemployment, alcoholism, and single-parent families are the norm - Zola was considered a dangerous region of South Africa - he was raised by his mother.

He is best known as a cast member of the gangster Papa Action in Yizo Yizo 2 the movie, where he assumed the role of a popular him lookalike actors from the first part. He also wrote the music and played a role in the Oscar winning film Tsotsi and worked in the film drum with. On television, he presented at the South African television station SABC 1, the eponymous reality show Zola 7, in which he fulfills wishes of people.

Zola is a musician, a successful representative of Kwaito. He not only sings but also writes and produces. For the tenth anniversary of the death of hip- hop stars Tupac Shakur ( † 13 September 1996), he published posthumously in an album of Shakur. Furthermore, Zola often for charity dedicated.
