Zombie Night II ( Original: Awakening, even Zombie Night 2: Awakening ) is a Canadian low-budget horror film from 2006, directed by David J. Francis. The exterior shots for the film were mostly held in Deseronto in the Canadian province of Ontario.
The end time scenario is the continuation of the film Zombie Night - No one will escape from the year 2003.
Action
The film is set in a distant future, once transferred into the mosquitoes a deadly virus on humanity, which continued to develop in the human hosts and its victims admitted mutated undead, so-called zombies are. After changing these predominantly nocturnal corpses awakened, she infected more passers-by until almost the entire civilization was wiped out by this zombie invasion. Only singly scattered people were able to escape, trying ever since to cope with life in the depopulated towns and barricade themselves in the dark.
At this elite group of survivors includes the stray Shelley and Keith, the one day of Basil, a randomly therefore driven driver of a pickup truck, be picked up. It comes to confusing skirmishes between the enemy survivors as well as to bite attacks of zombies that have become used to the brightness of at least limited. Only the couple Shelley and Keith survived. However, the next day they flee the building complex.
At the end of the film a previously unknown large group reached the area. One is lucky to have found a new home. But soon the armed group is attacked by a true army of undead, so the defenders take up the fight.
