Zone (Band)

ZONE was a J- pop band, founded in Sapporo, Japan in 1999. Your breakthrough came with the single GOOD DAYS, the most popular song is Secret Base ~ kimi ga kureta mono ~. ZONE is attributable to a novel genre, the Bandol ( band idol ) and stood at Studio Runtime under contract.

ZONE was established by Takayo Okoshi (* 1985) and seven other dancers and shrank with time to only four members. After announcement of the four girls began to learn tools to support their singing and dancing.

The end of 2003 Takayo left the band and was replaced by Tomoka. This occupation remained until the end exist. On 31 March 2005, the band broke up, three members made ​​their high school degree and went their own ways. The "Spring Tour 2005 " was the last tour of the band, the last appearance of the formation took place on 1 April 2005 before a packed house at the Nippon Budokan instead. The last song was played was Secret Base ~ kimi ga kureta mono ~. In the same year a live recording of this performance was released as a DVD.

Miyu began a solo career after the end of the formation. Maiko founded in early 2006, the six -member J- pop band Mary.

For the tenth anniversary Tomoka Nishimura, Maiko Sakae and Miyu Nagase 2011 got back together for a charity concert. After Sakae and Nagase continued the band as a duo and released with treasure of the heart once again as a single ZONE to Nagase in February 2013 was dismissed.
