Zonguldakspor

Zonguldakspor is a football club in the Turkish regional amateur league from the northern Turkish port town of Zonguldak. The club played in the 1970s and 1980s, a total of 14 seasons in the Süper Lig in the Eternal table of the Süper Lig club is on the 26th place.

History

The club was founded in 1945 as Kömürspor. After the association has begun in the Ikinci Lig ( Lig A), ( TFF 1 Lig today ) to play, it was renamed in Zonguldakspor. In the 1973/74 season they were champions and went on thus in the Turkish Süper Lig. The 1979/80 season was a huge success, as they won the 3rd place. In the late 1980s, the club twice in a row from the same rose and reached the third Turkish Lig After descending from the Süper Lig (1988 ) also followed the descent of the Türk Telekom Lig A ( 1989). Between 1989 and 2005 they increased again in the TFF 1 Lig and again in the second TFF Lig from. In the season 2005/ 06 they rose again in the third Turkish Lig.

For summer 2009, the club was relegated from the TFF Lig 3 and said goodbye to it the first time in their history by the Turkish professional football operation. After being relegated to the regional amateur league, the club did not succeed in club renovation. The club into debt further and further. As a way out of the club was renamed Fenerspor and instead the club Demir Madencilik Dilaverspor renamed Zonguldakspor. By name transfer was achieved financial restructuring of the club and transferred the debt to the new club Fenerspor.

Following the 2010/11 season, the club changed their name in Zonguldak Kömürspor.

In the 2012/13 season, you just missed out on promotion to the professional TFF Lig 3 On the last match was received as leader, one point ahead of the second placed Ankara Adliyespor. For the championship and the associated rise of Zonguldak Kömürspor only needed a draw, but you can still defeated despite a 1-0 lead with 1:2, where Ankara Adliyespor scored both goals in the last five minutes.
