Zouk Machine

Zouk Machine is a band from Guadeloupe in the style Zouk.

Guy Houllier and Yves Honoré, members of the group Expérience 7 Group In 1986, with the singers Joëlle Ursull, Christiane Obydol, and Dominique Zerubbabel, known as Les Zoukettes. Their first album Sove Lanmou had great success. Joëlle Ursull left the group soon to begin her solo career. She joined in 1990 at the Euro Vision, finishing in second place. In 1989, Jane Fostin to the group.

From their album Maldon, the band had its biggest hit in 1989 with Maldon ' ( la musique dans la peau ), who was nine weeks at number one on the French charts.

In 1995 there were problems in the band, so this was partially reorganized under the name New Zouk Machine. Jane Fostin left the group a little later and Christiane and Dominique Obydol Zerubbabel decided for two to let live on the group. 2006 Dominique Zerubbabel left the group for her solo career. Christiane Obydol went on to 2008, the last album Koud'Soley.
