Zuia
Zuia (Spanish Zuya ) is a Basque community in the province of Álava, in the Basque Country in northern Spain. The community is just over 120 km ² area one of the largest communities of Alava.
History
Zuia was first documented in 1025.
Culture
Language
Until the 19th century the inhabitants of Zuia spoke Basque. Today, only 20 % of the population are baskischsprachig.
