Zuid-Kennemerland National Park
Kennemerduinen (also Kennemerduin ) has been founded in 1950 National Park on the Dutch North Sea coast west of the city of Haarlem. The National Park is characterized by a natural dune landscape and is surrounded by the municipalities of Velsen, Bloemendaal and Zandvoort. Parts of the national park, especially in the north near IJmuiden aan Zee, a district of Velsen, have solid, built by the German Wehrmacht in World War II defenses.
