Zuqar (Arabic جزيرة زقر, DMG Ǧazīra Zuqar ) is the largest island of the Hanisch Islands, which belong to Yemen, and is located in the north of the island group. Located in the Red Sea, the island is located near the strait of Bab el Mandeb, which connects the Red Sea with the Gulf of Aden.
