Zuqnin Chronicle

The Chronicle of Zuqnin is a written in Syriac Christian world chronicle, which was probably written in Zuqnin monastery at Amida ( Diyarbakır ) 775/76. At times it was regarded as the work of the Syrian Orthodox Patriarch Dionysius of Tell Mahre of Antioch ( officiated 818-845 ), which is why the name of the author as Pseudo-Dionysius of Tell Mahre (see below more details) explained.
