Žut

Zut is an island in the Šibenik -Knin in Croatia. It has an area of ​​14.83 km ², making it the second largest island of Kornati. On the island there are no inhabitants with permanent residence. All dwellings on the island are apartments or seasonal restaurants. In the northeast of the island is occupies one of a marina.

Zut is located between the two islands of Pasman and Kornati. The 45.9 km long coast of the island usually falls steeply into the sea and is traversed by numerous bays. The highest peak of the island is 155 m high Gubavac.

Zut has a sparse vegetation and is largely overgrown with macchia. Due to the agricultural use of the island, we find such olive trees, fig trees and grape vines.
