Zuzana Kučová

Zuzana Kucova ( born June 26, 1982 in Bratislava, Czechoslovakia) is a former Slovak tennis player.

Career

With six years Kucova began playing tennis, her favorite surface is hard court. Her younger sister Kristína Kucova is also a professional player. Zuzana won so far eight single and with changing partners four double tournaments of the ITF Women's Circuit. She has missed the place in Top100 with room 101 on 7 June 2010 just. As of October 2011, she had to pause one and a half years due to a persistent hamstring injury on his hand. She dropped by in the world rankings in both single and double disqualified. In the WTA tournament in Stuttgart in April 2013 she gave her comeback, but did not make it past the qualification. At the French Open, she defeated in round one the German Julia Goerges 7-6, 6-0 and won for the first time a match in the main draw of a Grand Slam tournament. After the biggest success of the career she has ended her active career.
