Zverevo

Zverevo (Russian Зверево ) is a city in Rostov Oblast (Russia) with 22 411 inhabitants (as of October 14, 2010 ).

Geography

The city is located in the eastern part of the Donezrückens about 140 km northeast of the Oblasthauptstadt Rostov on Don in the range of several. In the Kundrjutschja, a right tributary of the Seversky Donets, opens Direction streams

History

Zverevo originated in the early 20th century as a mining camp in connection with the mining of coal deposits. 1929 was the place the status of an urban-type settlement and 1989, the city law.
