Zvonimir Vujin
Zvonimir " Zvonko " Vujin ( born July 23, 1943 in Zrenjanin, Republic of Serbia ) is a former Yugoslav amateur boxer in the lightweight ( 57 to 60 kg) and light welterweight (60 to 63.5 kg ). It was founded in 1967 Vice European Champion and won bronze medals at the Olympic Games in 1968 and 1972.
Boxing career
He boxed for the Banat Zrenjanin and BK was in 1958 Yugoslavian junior champion in the light flyweight and 1965, 1966, 1969 and 1972 Yugoslavian champion at lightweight. He also won in 1966 and 1967, the Balkan Championships at lightweight, and 1971 Balkan Championships Welterweight. In addition, he won the 1967 Mediterranean Games in the lightweight.
At the European Championships in Berlin in 1965, he won the lightweight against the eventual Olympian Gula László from Hungary, but lost in the quarterfinals of the Russians and eventual champions Wilikton Barannikow. In 1967 he became vice - European champion at lightweight in Rome. He defeated while the German Wolfgang Schmitt and the Norwegian Sven Paulsen each early in the first round, defeated in the semifinals Dieter Dark (3rd place World Cup 1967) on points and only lost in the final of the Olympic champion from 1964 Józef Grudzień.
In 1968 he started at lightweight at the Summer Olympic Games in Mexico City. He suggested in the preliminary rounds of the German Peter Rieger and the Russians Valeri Belousov, as well as in the quarterfinals Peruvian Luis Minami. In the semifinals he was defeated again Józef Grudzień and thus won the bronze medal.

Also at the 1972 Summer Olympics in Munich, he won the bronze medal, this time in Light Welterweight. He beat Robert Mwakosya from Tanzania, Sodnom Gombo from Mongolia and the British Graham Moughton before he was defeated in the semifinals against the Americans Ray Seales.
