Zytek

Zytek is a British company that deals with control systems for the automotive industry, power transmission, engine and hybrid technology. The company also builds engines for motorsport and operates its own racing team.

Motorsport

Zytek Systems was founded in 1982 with the goal to develop engine electronics for international motor sport and to sell. Made a name for the company by the first electronic engine control for the Formula 1 mid-1990 Zytek Motorsport BMW began to supply with engine electronics for the four-and six-cylinder racing engines. 1995 came the breakthrough, as the FIA Zytek responsible for the maintenance and supply developed by Judd engines for the Formula 3000 race series around the world. In 2005 the factory team was victorious at the 1000 km race at the Nurburgring, Spa-Francorchamps and the 4- hour race at Laguna Seca.

Today Zytek is able to provide a complete package consisting of chassis, engine, wiring and control electronics for almost any car racing formula.

Road vehicles

Motor Electronics Zytek comes in addition to the racing and road vehicles by Jaguar, Aston Martin, Rolls- Royce and Bentley used. Zytek led the 32 -bit technology in vehicle and integrated controls such as traction control.
