10th Berlin International Film Festival
The International Film Festival Berlin 1960 took place until July 5, 1960 by June 24.
The 10th Berlinale should present as an anniversary present numerous world stars to the public. Be it at the Tempelhof airport or at the Zoo train station, everywhere received the mass stars like Cary Grant, Jean Gabin, Jean -Paul Belmondo, Vittorio Gassman, Gene Kelly and Richard Widmark.

The following films were shown at this year's Official Competition:
International Jury
This year, the American silent film star Harold Lloyd was jury president. He got the following jury: Floris Mr. Amman Nati (Italy ), Georges Auric (France), Joaquin de Entrambasaguas (Spain ), Werner Richard Heymann ( Germany ), Hidemi Ima (Japan), Sohrab modes (India ), Georg Ramseger ( Germany ) Henry Reed ( UK ), Eva Staar ( Germany ) and Frank Wisbar ( Germany ).

- Juliette Mayniel in fair ( Best Actress )
- Fredric March in Inherit the Wind ( Best Actor )
- Les Jeux de l' amour ( Special Prize for the best film comedy)
- Golden Bear for Best Documentary: Faja Lobbi by Herman van der Horst
