Painting

  • The Workshop of Albrecht Dürer on the ends it creates part of the Heller altar from Nuremberg to Frankfurt am Main. The other part of the given by Jacob Heller for the Dominican Church of Frankfurt commissioned triptych is made by Matthias Grünewald. The two parts are assembled in 1511 at the destination.
  • Francesco Francia painted the Baptism of Christ.
  • Mariotto Albertinelli and Fra Bartolommeo go after around ten years again an artistic partnership. You go to Lucca, where they set up a painted for the San Martino Cathedral altarpiece.
  • 1509: Lucas van Leyden manufactures Lot and his daughters, and The Temptation of Saint Anthony.
