1933 International Lawn Tennis Challenge
The International Lawn Tennis Challenge 1933 was the 28th edition of the competition organized by the ITF for men's national teams in tennis. The competition was held in two continental zones of Europe and the Americas region, the Americas zone were divided into a North and Central America South America group and a group. The winners of the two zones played a playoff for the final. For the first time a qualification system was introduced due to the high number of participants in the Europe zone: all teams that were eliminated before the semifinals zone, had in a qualifying round to four starting places compete for next year's main draw.
In continental playoff, the UK achieved against the United States by 4-1, and then defeated in from 28 to 30 July during the final defending champions France. It was the sixth title so far in Britain.

In the final between Britain and France, the British challenger prevailed 3-2. After nine French finals in a row, it should last for 49 years ( until 1982 ) to the next.
