1943–44 NHL season
The NHL season 1943/44, was the 27th season in the National Hockey League. Six teams each completed 50 games. The Stanley Cup won by the Canadiens after a 4-0 win in the final series against the Chicago Blackhawks. 28 Players the New York Rangers because of the Second World War with the Army. At the beginning of the season there were only six players from last season in the squad. The newly formed team won the first 15 games, only a draw.
The game underwent a serious change by some rule changes. Until this season it was for the defending team are not allowed on their own blue line to fit. This season there is also the red midline.
