1951–52 Czechoslovak Extraliga season

The season 1951/52, the first league was the ninth regular hosting of the highest Hockey Class of Czechoslovakia. With eight points in the final tournament, the Final ZSJ Vítkovické Zelezarny just sat through on goal difference compared to the ATK Prague. For the team from Vitkovice it was their first Czechoslovakian league title at all.

Mode

In contrast to the previous season the main round was held in three different groups, each with six participants. Due to the implementation of the outgoing and return within the groups, the total number of matches per team in the main round was ten games. The top two teams from each group qualified for the final Final tournament held in a simple round and the winner champion.

Top scorers of the league were common Oldrich Seiml of Master ZSJ Vítkovické Zelezarny and Miroslav Kluc of ZSJ Hutě Chomutov who both achieved 23 goals in 15 matches of their team.
