1970 World Rowing Championships
The World Rowing Championships 1970 were held at the Martindale Pond in St. Catharines, Canada, under the rules of the International Rowing Federation ( FISA ). In seven boat classes for men while rowing world champions were determined. The finals were held on September 6, 1970.

Here are the medal winners from the A- finals are listed. These were filled with six boats that had to qualify through pre-and hope runs and semi-finals for the finals. The track length was 2000 meters in all runs.
