1974–75 French Rugby Union Championship

The season 1974/75 was the 76th staging of the French rugby union championship. It included the last time 64 teams in the top league ( of today's top 14). In the following season, the number of participants was reduced to 40 teams.

The championship was divided into two phases. It began with the group phase in which eight teams played in eight groups against each other. The four winners of each group moved into the K - o.Runde. This was followed by sixteenth, eighth, quarter and semi-finals. In the final game, which took place in Paris on 18 May 1975 at the Parc des Princes, came together the two semi-final winners and played for the Bouclier de Brennus. Here, the AS Béziers won against the CA Brive and won their fifth title.
