1974–75 Swedish Division I season
The season 1974/75 was the 31st and final season of Division 1 as the highest Swedish hockey league. Champion for the fourth time in club history Leksand IF. For the 1975/76 season, the Division 1 was replaced by the professional league Elitserien as the highest Swedish league.

Mode
Since the founding of the Elitserien had already decided for 1975, challenged the 16 teams in the Division 1 a common main round, in order to qualify for the new league. The top eight teams qualified directly for the new Elitserien, the top four teams is also qualified for the playoffs, where the Master was played. The crews of the main round in the squares 9 and 10 had in the relegation, the so-called Kvalserien compete, while the remaining six teams descended to the second division. For a win, each team was given two points, a draw there was a point and a defeat.
