1980–81 Liga Nacional de Hockey Hielo season
The 1980/81 season was the ninth season of the Super League, the highest Spanish Hockey League. Champion for the fourth time in club history the CH Casco Viejo Bilbao, while the CH and CH Boadilla gel Barcelona descended into the 2nd league.

In the main round each of the eight teams completed a total of 14 games. The top four teams qualified for the final round, in which they completed a further two games against each opponent, and the results were taken from the main round. The winner of the final round was champion. For the teams ranked 5-8, the season was ended after the main round, the two last placed descended into the 2nd league. For a win, each team was given two points, a draw there was a point and a defeat.
